Terms of Use
The essential rules for using IncidentMTL and managing IncidentMTL Plus.
Effective and last updated: August 28, 2026App and licence
These terms describe the IncidentMTL service, website, and subscriptions. Unless the App Store states otherwise, the application licence is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).

- The subscription title, duration, price, and any trial period are displayed in the app before purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews until cancelled. Apple handles billing, refunds, and trial eligibility.
- You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period.
- Deleting IncidentMTL data does not cancel the Apple subscription; those are separate actions.
Nature of the information
IncidentMTL presents open data already published by the City of Montréal. It may appear days after an event, contain errors, or change at the source. IncidentMTL is not a real-time feed, a safety score, or a prediction tool.
SPVM moves published positions to a nearby intersection. SIM response calls use the exact location published by the City. In an emergency, always call 911.
Availability and sources
We may correct, update, or interrupt a feature to maintain service quality, security, or operations. Availability also depends on Apple, the data sources, and our providers.
City of Montréal data is used under the licences listed on the Data sources and licences page. The IncidentMTL brand, design, and software remain protected by applicable rights.

The Privacy Policy explains the information handled and your choices. For questions about the service, a subscription, or your information, email bonjour@incidentmtl.com.
